About
WHO WE ARE
Founded in 2005, Invest In the USA (IIUSA) is the national membership-based 501(c)(6) not-for-profit industry trade association for the EB-5 Regional Center Program. Fundamentally, we are an organization focused on stimulating the United States economy for the benefit of American workers, American communities, and all those invested in sustainable, domestic job creation.
To date, IIUSA represents 200+ Regional Center members and 120+ Service Provider members across the country serving 47 states/territories. Regional Centers account for billions of dollars in EB-5 capital formation. Concretely, our work has empowered our members to create tens of thousands of jobs in a wide range of industries and American communities, generating over $32 billion dollars in foreign direct investment at no cost to the U.S. tax payer.
Through dedicated advocacy work, education, industry development, and research, IIUSA advocates for policies that maximize economic benefit to the United States. from the EB-5 Regional Center Program. Accordingly, our primary mission is to achieve the permanent Congressional reauthorization of the EB-5 Regional Center Program after over 30 years of enthusiastic bipartisan support and record-breaking economic impact.
VISION
Our vision is for the EB-5 Regional Center Program to be a sustainable and critical thread to US economic development.
MISSION
Our mission is to advocate for EB-5 stakeholders and to foster an empowered network that impacts regional growth.
Together, we work to achieve all of the following:
Educating the general public and government about the many benefits of Regional Center collaboration through the EB-5 investment program.
Stimulating economic development and job growth in the United States.
Serving as agents of positive change in American communities, including those facing economic hardship.
Advancing and maintaining Regional Center industry standards, best practices, and ethical transparency.
Representing Regional Centers and facilitating their efforts to address administrative, regulatory, and legislative issues at all levels of government.
Serving as a strong, unified voice for permanent authorization and improvement of the EB-5 Regional Center Program to enhance Regional Center activities.
WHAT WE DO
Advocacy
We continue to collaborate closely with IIUSA members, Congress, and other industry stakeholder groups to secure permanent or long-term reauthorization. Permanent reauthorization promises to deliver overall improvements to Program efficiency and capacity, allowing us to deliver much-needed capital to economic development projects across the country.
Federal Agency Connectivity
At the behest of IIUSA, the first EB-5 stakeholders meeting was held with USCIS in September 2008. IIUSA continues to communicate directly with USCIS on all EB-5-related issues, speaking from a national platform. IIUSA also promotes the Program to other pertinent federal agencies/offices, such as the U.S. Department of Commerce, CIS Ombudsman Office, Securities and Exchange Commission, and others. This consistent, open dialogue with various public sector stakeholders keeps IIUSA, our members, and various stakeholders, informed and connected.
Media Exposure
We continue to promote the benefits of the EB-5 Program to the media and raise the Program’s profile in the process. The Program has been featured in major national publications, including the following: The New York Times, National Public Radio (NPR), The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, and Yahoo Finance.
