The EB-5 Regional Center Program Advisory Committee Authorization Act – H.R. 6992 – has been introduced in the House of Representatives. Introduced by Reps. Greg Stanton (D-AZ), Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA), Sam Liccardo (D-CA), and Lance Gooden (R-TX), this bipartisan legislation would establish a formal advisory committee within USCIS composed of regional center representatives and state and local economic development officials. The committee would improve communication, coordination, and program administration, strengthen oversight while supporting the long-term integrity and effectiveness of the EB-5 Regional Center Program.
Securing cosponsors for this legislation is important. Members of Congress who publicly cosponsor H.R. 6992 are clearly demonstrating their support for the EB-5 Regional Center Program. That public support will be critical as we work toward securing an early, long-term reauthorization of the program. When an opportunity for reauthorization presents itself, we will be able to return to offices that have already signaled their support.

Subj: Please Cosponsor H.R. 6992 – EB-5 Advisory Committee Bill
Dear Representative [Last Name],
I am writing to respectfully ask that you cosponsor H.R. 6992, the EB-5 Regional Center Program Advisory Committee Authorization Act. This link includes background information on the bill for your review.
The EB-5 Regional Center Program plays a vital role in attracting private investment to the United States, creating American jobs, and supporting development in rural and high unemployment communities, all at no cost to taxpayers. Maintaining confidence in the program through effective, transparent administration is essential to preserving its economic impact.
H.R. 6992 would establish a formal advisory committee within USCIS composed of regional centers and state and local economic development officials to improve communication and program administration. The bill does not reopen the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act but instead strengthens oversight and promotes long-term program stability.
Cosponsoring this legislation would demonstrate strong support for the EB-5 Regional Center Program and the American workers and communities it benefits.
