McKenzie Penton joined IIUSA in 2015 as a Membership Development and Marketing Assistant. Over the years, his role has expanded to encompass fundraising, international partnership development, and strategic business initiatives. As Director of Events and Business Development, McKenzie leads IIUSA’s global engagement strategy, driving growth through new partnerships, sponsorships, and member outreach.

He is responsible for creating and running the industry-leading EB-5 Event Passport Series, which, since 2022, has connected EB-5 stakeholders in key investor markets around the world. The series has been hosted more than 40 times across Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Africa, cementing IIUSA’s role as the global leader in EB-5 education and business development.

In addition to his work with IIUSA, McKenzie is the founder of Penton Global Consulting, a firm specializing in non-profit and association management. Through his firm, he provides strategic and operational support to mission-driven non-profits across his home state of Maine. McKenzie holds a B.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University, where he also completed specialized studies in conflict resolution.
