Join IIUSA for a government affairs webinar presented by the IIUSA Political Action Committee (PAC). The webinar will feature IIUSA lobbyist George McElwee and IIUSA PAC Chairman Bob Kraft (FirstPathway Partners). Additionally, Congresswoman Maria Salazar’s (R-FL-27) Chief of Staff was invited to discuss the House of Representatives’ immigration bill, the Dignity Act. The panel will also discuss legislative and political advocacy activities and successes from 2023 and the year ahead to keep IIUSA at the forefront of EB-5 advocacy and promote the EB-5 Program as a viable and necessary economic development tool.
The webinar is free to attend, however, because the discussion will include a review of the IIUSA PAC’s activities, the Federal Election Commission (FEC) restricts attendance to IIUSA members who have provided the association with an executed copy of the IIUSA PAC prior approval form. This form does not commit you to contributing to the PAC, but rather legally allows the IIUSA PAC to speak to you in more detail about the PAC and to solicit contributions.
According to FEC rules, only those individuals who work for a member organization of IIUSA and whose employer signed the PAC Prior Approval Form can attend to avoid even the appearance of unwanted solicitations.
If you have any questions about the webinar, please contact Ashley Casey at ashley.casey@iiusa.org. If you have any questions about the IIUSA PAC or the necessary Prior Approval Form, please contact Aaron Grau at aaron.grau@iiusa.org
