On July 1, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published long-awaited notice of proposed rulemaking (NPRM) to the Federal Register. The full NPRM can be viewed here.
IIUSA is carefully reviewing the proposed changes and will provide a comprehensive summary in the next few days.
Additionally, the IIUSA Public Policy Committee will be working on comments to submit within the 60-day comment period.
In the meantime, if you have comments on the NPRM that you would like the Public Policy Committee to take into consideration while drafting their official comment submission, email them to ashley.casey@iiusa.org as soon as possible.
