This is a recorded webinar that took place on June 8, 2022. As of the date of the recording, all information was deemed to be accurate an up to date, but with the rapidly changing nature of the EB-5 Regional Center Program and the newly enacted RIA, it is possible some of the information disseminated in this informational session is no longer valid. This webinar does not constitute legal advice and you should always confer with your own legal counsel.
On April 29, 2022, USCIS announced that previously designated regional centers must reapply for designation by filing the new Form I-956, Application for Regional Center Designation. On May 13, 2022, USCIS released the Form I-956 and the Form I-956H, Bona Fides of Persons Involved with the Regional Center Program.
IIUSA invites members and other EB-5 stakeholders to learn about the Form I-956 — its context within RIA and practical tips for completing. We will also briefly look ahead at other Forms I-956 to come, including the Form I-956F for mandatory exemplar applications and as-yet-unmentioned form for annual certifications (pre-RIA Form I-924A).
