USCIS Requires New RIA EB-5 Regional Center ID Numbers
USCIS began sending e-mails to regional centers indicating that all regional centers, including those designated prior to the enactment of the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 (RIA), have been assigned new regional center identification numbers (RCIDs).
The e-mail provides the new Regional Center ID, providing a number with a two letter “RC” prefix.
The e-mail states that all regional centers and new commercial enterprises should use the new RCID on all filings to USCIS, including any Forms I-956, I-956F, I-956G, I-956H, and I-956K.
Importantly, according to the notice:
(1) Failure to include the new RCID may result in the rejection of an application.
(2) The Regional Center should use the new RCID when submitting its Integrity Fund fee payment.
With the Integrity Fee payment window closing on October 31, 2024 for FY 2025, all regional centers are advised to use their new RCIDs when making payment on the pay.gov portal.
