Earlier this evening, the Senate passed a “continuing resolution” (CR) to keep the U.S. government-funded and operational until March 11. The President is expected to sign the legislation into law this evening. The CR was again “clean,” meaning it included few legislative provisions. The CR will give Congress more time to negotiate on the Fiscal Year 2022 spending and government-wide priorities.
IIUSA has made great progress working with our industry colleagues and Congressional offices on the EB-5 Regional Center Program authorization. IIUSA has had positive engagements with legislators and their staff regarding this authorization’s inclusion in the next spending bill.
IIUSA will continue to advocate for the authorization to be included when Congress acts again prior to the March 11 deadline. Email [email protected] with any questions you may have.
