Some of the questions that were addressed in this discussion were:

  • How did EB-5 fare in 2023? Has activity returned to pre-RIA levels?
  • Will U.S. and global economic conditions change who is investing in EB-5 in 2024?
  • Will EB-5 investment increase this year? Decrease? Stay the same?
  • Will EB-5 wait times go up or down in 2024?
  • What will happen with reserved EB-5 visa categories? Are they in danger of “filling up?”
  • How have Regional Centers adapted to the RIA’s integrity measures?
  • Have 2023 bank failures changed the way issuers approach EB-5 banking?
  • What do we know about how USCIS is evaluating annual GAAP audits?
  • How can we get better communication from USCIS on RIA provisions still lacking in clarity?
