Invest in the USA (IIUSA) recently completed four events in India as part of the association’s industry-leading EB-5 Passport Series. The events connected IIUSA members, local industry professionals, and hundreds of prospective investors for in-depth education, business development, and networking in key cities around the country.
The trip kicked off with events in the beautiful and burgeoning cities of Bengaluru and Ahmedabad where sponsors had an opportunity to meet with prospective investors eager to learn more about the opportunities available to them. India’s growing tech industry’s influence was on full display in Bengaluru as attendees discussed how EB-5 can act as a meaningful alternative for those individuals stuck in the H1-B queue.
The Series’ rolled on with stops in Pune and Mumbai; the former marking the association’s expansion into a growing market and the latter being our annual return to India’s hub of all things EB-5. While our attendance was exceptional, both in quality and quantity, in all four cities, we were especially proud to see such well-attended events in Pune and Mumbai even as the cities dealt with historically high rainfall. While braving the weather is not always advisable, we believe the strong turnout in the face of adversity was a testament to the importance of the educational programming IIUSA offers.
While each event took on its own shape and style, we were pleased to provide attendees at all stops with curated networking time during which our sponsors, local members, and prospective investors discussed their projects and industry services. The interactive nature of the events enabled sponsors to build solid relationships with potential clients and local professionals while prospective investors gained a deeper understanding of the program and its value.
No IIUSA event is complete without in-depth panel discussions and IIUSA delivered! Our staff and expert panelists provided a comprehensive introduction to the EB-5 program covering hot topics such as processing trends, project set-asides, concurrent filing, investor protections, the benefits of a green card, and much more. While lively audience Q&A ensured we addressed the most pressing questions of the day, our panel sessions were particularly valuable for attendees actively considering the EB-5 program as part of their immigration and investment strategy.
In short, the association delivered another four successful events in its Passport Series. However, before we move on to our next destinations, we must extend a special thank you to sponsors and speakers whose support enables the association to provide such impactful business development and educational opportunities. Our supporting members are truly championing the EB-5 program and helping to ensure access to equitable and transparent information on the program.
A further thank you is owed to Mr. Mayank Chhatwal, Managing Director of Electronic Print Media Networks, and his dedicated team without whom we would have been unable to deliver on these engagements. Their efforts were instrumental in ensuring the smooth execution of the events and helped to secure the support of local chambers including The All-India Association of Industries, the Bangalore Chamber of Commerce and Industries, the Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, the Punjabi Chamber of Commerce, the Global Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the International Chamber of Investment and Business
We hope that this is just the beginning and we look forward to seeing you at the next IIUSA EB-5 Passport Series event in India or elsewhere around the world!
