The Center for Real Estate Finance Research at New York University’s Stern School of Business recently produced a draft version of a study titled, “A Roadmap to the Use of EB-5 Capital: An Alternative Financing Tool for Commercial Real Estate Projects.” Researched and written by professor Jeanne Calderon and Gary Freidland, the paper is a working draft intended to stimulate conversation and comments are welcome (send comments to [email protected]).
The paper is divided into two sections. The first section provides background on the EB- 5 immigration process. The second section explains the key features of EB-5 capital and its role in current projects.
NY Stern CREFR EB-5 Summit- March 27, 2015
The NYU Stern Center for Real Estate Finance Research will host a one-day event to discuss the findings from the EB-5 study. IIUSA Executive Director Peter D. Joseph will be a speaker on the EB-5 discussion panel.The program agenda is as follows:
