At this pivotal time for EB-5 stakeholders in the United States, it can be a real challenge to convince others of the value of attending industry events and forums.
However, this fall you will find me at IIUSA’s 9th Annual EB-5 Industry Forum in Seattle, WA. This year’s event is by far the most important conference on my calendar as the industry and key stakeholders look to chart a new course for the EB-5 Regional Center industry.
What is the IIUSA EB-5 Industry Forum?
A can’t miss event might be an understatement. This year’s event is of critical importance for any and all regional center stakeholders as we collectively look to shape a new feature for the Program.
With a strong emphasis on education, industry best practices and business development on a world stage, the event is sure to have programming for everyone. On top of that, it will bring together many of the leading industry stakeholders as the industry collectively looks ahead to the challenges (and opportunities) that may be coming our way.
Why Am Attending this Year’s IIUSA EB-5 Industry Forum?
I am certainly looking forward to re-connecting with colleagues and friends, and more importantly, I am looking forward to meeting new faces across the spectrum of EB-5 stakeholders, including EB-5 regional center operators, attorneys, developers, economic development professionals, foreign intermediaries, banks and other financial service providers to name a few.
In addition, this year’s jam-packed program features a host of important panels ranging from economic development finance, immigration law and of course legislative and regulatory updates. IIUSA programming is second to none and I look forward to listening in on all of this year’s panels because I know that the information I will receive will be timely, in-depth and critical to my success in the year ahead.
I am also looking forward to joining my IIUSA member-led committee to discuss our important ongoing work. While not all members are able to serve on a committee at one time, members are always invited to observe the committee meetings during the in-person events and I know my committee members would be eager to see a new face!
Did I mention all of the networking opportunities that will be available at this year’s event? I know that I am looking forward to networking receptions, exhibit hall time and other curated opportunities!
