The Association to Invest In the USA (IIUSA) is proud to announce it will be sponsoring an EB-5 Panel at the annual conference of The Association of University Business Economic Research (AUBER) in Honolulu, Hawaii (10/27-10/30). The panel will take place on the 29th and feature IIUSA President, K. David Andersson, along with Scott Lindall, MIG Group (IMPLAN creator), and Hart Hodges, Western Washington University (former President of AUBER).
IIUSA will also be seeking proposals from attendees for an EB-5 Regional Center Program research paper featuring: (1) an economic impact assessment and forecasting using newly available data – improving on the 2010 USCIS/ICFI EB-5 Program evaluation obtained by IIUSA via FOIA in May 2012; and, (2) a documentation of the evolution of USCIS’ approach to EB-5 economics, best practices going forward.
IIUSA Members will have the opportunity to play an intrinsic role in the Paper’s development process. IIUSA will be soliciting direct member feedback and comments on recent trends and questions for the future from its membership. This report promised to demonstrate the full economic impact of the Program, while contributing an important, data-driven research project to all sectors of the industry for education and advocacy.
