Within the coming weeks, IIUSA expects the reintroduction of a bill by Senators Charles Grassley (R-IA) and Patrick Leahy (D-VT) that would reform and reauthorize the EB-5 Regional Center Program. In advance of that development, we thought it would be helpful to address some of the industry’s most frequently asked questions about the “integrity bill” and reauthorization.
On Tuesday, March 9, members of the IIUSA Board of Directors will answer some of the most important questions during a live FAQ webinar. The discussion in its entirety will be a critical component of IIUSA’s advocacy efforts moving forward. Accordingly, we plan to make the video recording publicly accessible. However, we also wanted to invite industry stakeholders to participate in the live session.
To register for the discussion, we would ask that you follow the link below. Once available, the recording will be accessible on IIUSA’s YouTube channel.
Our Panelists include:
- Robert Kraft, CEO, FirstPathway Partners; President, IIUSA
- Rush Deacon, Managing Director, Pine State Regional Center; Director, IIUSA
- Mariza McKee; Partner, Kutak Rock; Director, IIUSA
- Cletus Weber, Co-Founder and Senior Attorney, Peng & Weber PLLC; Director, IIUSA

A section-by-section summary of the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2020 (the “Integrity Act” or the “Act”) introduced in the last congress can be found here. While the bill will need to be reintroduced in the new congress, the summary provides a good starting point for understanding the previous bill and what we expect the new bill to also reflect.
