Earlier this week, IIUSA President Robert Kraft represented the association at the 2018 Entrepreneur & Investor Summit in Ottawa, Canada. The two day event brought together investment immigration professionals from around the world to explore how business and investment immigration could help to advance Canada’s economic development agenda in the years ahead.
Mr. Kraft spoke on a panel entitled “Does Investor Immigration Have a Future in Canada?” we he was able to highlight the many success of the EB-5 Regional Center in the United States as well as to provide important lessons learned from his perspective as a leader in the EB-5 Industry. The panel touched on many of the hot-topic issues the EB-5 program is currently dealing with including fraud & integrity but also shone a light of the positive contribution that investment immigration is making every day to communities across the United States.
As the EB-5 indsutry’s only not-for-profit trade association we were pleased do be invited to offer our perspective on investment immigration in the United States and its potential path ahead in Canada.
