IIUSA PAC Continues to Grow, But It Needs Your Support

In 2023, Invest in the USA (IIUSA) established a political action committee (PAC) to further bolster the association’s and the EB-5 industry’s influence and voice in Washington, DC. The IIUSA PAC is a valuable tool as it carries the message and mission of the entire association with it. While contributions from individuals are helpful and important, a contribution from a PAC bares a clear position on political issues that matter to the industry.

PACs are formal organizations committed to supporting political candidates who reflect a PAC’s priorities and values. A PAC receives voluntary financial contributions from those permitted to provide them and uses that money to support selected political candidates.

The IIUSA PAC’s first year was a great success and the PAC Board hopes to continue and build upon the momentum in 2024.

In its first year, the IIUSA PAC:

    • Received signed prior approval forms from 39 member organizations, allowing the IIUSA PAC to formally solicit contributions from qualifying employees;
    • Raised $81,331 in contributions from 56 individual contributors; and
    • Distributed PAC check contributions to 8 federal candidates from both parties

If your organization has not done so already, please have a manager complete the IIUSA PAC Prior Approval form and return it to aaron.grau@iiusa.org. This does not commit you or anyone else to any financial contribution, it simply allows the PAC to directly communicate with you about contributions. It also allows you to attend any IIUSA PAC-sponsored event. Only one form per organization needs to be completed.

If you have any questions about the PAC, the IIUSA PAC Board would be happy to speak with you. Their names and contact information are below and you should feel free to reach out to them at any time with questions. In addition, you can learn more about the IIUSA PAC at the upcoming IIUSA EB-5 Industry Forum in Atlanta next month.
