Ensure Your Voice is Heard: Vote in IIUSA’s Annual Election
On May 4, 2021, IIUSA hosted its 16th Annual Membership Meeting. During the meeting, members heard from IIUSA staff and leadership on the state of the association (which is great!) and heard a recap on the association’s work over the past year as well as its vision for the year(s) ahead.
A focal point of the meeting was presentations from individuals nominated to fill the IIUSA Officers and Directors seats. You can review the Nominating Committees’ recommendations here. All nominations were carefully considered and the recommended candidates have demonstrated commitment, recent engagement, support of IIUSA, and ethical business practices.
Voting for Officer and Director positions is now open to the membership. Each member organization has received one ballot to cast votes for the four open directorship positions** and all three officer positions. Members may cast up to four votes for the same person for each directorship opening if they choose. The four director nominees with the highest vote counts will fill the open directorship seats. Voting closes on Tuesday, May 11 at 11:59 pm. New directors will be announced via email to the membership no later than May 14, 2021.
