Last week IIUSA Executive Director, Peter D. Joseph, represented the EB-5 Regional Center industry at the Investment Immigration Summit East Asia series in Hong Kong.
Mr. Joseph detailed the latest industry developments as well as discussed the key opportunities for high-net worth investors who are interested in migrating to the United States. Joining Mr. Joseph on the panel were IIUSA members Devin Williams (EB5 Global) and Nicolai Hinrichsen (Miller Mayer LLP). Also speaking at the event were IIUSA members Bernard Rojano (Xecute EB-5 Business Solutions), Rafael Anchia (Civitas Capital Group), Aaron Goforth (Wright Johnson), Greg Hayden (New York City Regional Center), and Nima Korpivaara (David Hirson & Partners, LLP).
Ahead of the December 9 “sunset” date for the EB-5 Program, IIUSA will continue to deliver a message of self-regulation and consensus building to the industry and outside stakeholders and events both domestically and abroad offer the perfect platform to do so. IIUSA will continue to seek consensus amongst its members and to engage in constructive policy discussions with other stakeholders and lawmakers to secure a future for the Program.
