IIUSA is excited to announce the details for our annual “EB-5 Regional Center Advocacy Conference & Annual Membership Meeting.” CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
The Conference details are as follows:
The “sunset” date of 09/30/2012 for the EB-5 Regional Center Program (“the Program”) is fast approaching (509 days from the date of this event). Now is the time for us to visit our elected officials and articulate why, for the good of the country – and their district/state – the Program must be made permanent. The Honorable Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-VT) has introduced the Creating American Jobs with Foreign Capital Act (S. 642) which would accomplish our just mission. Only together, through collective action, can we make it a reality.
With that in mind, on Tuesday May 10, 2011 IIUSA will be hosting its 2011 Annual Membership Meeting and EB-5 Advocacy Conference in Washington, DC. Space is limited, so BUY YOUR EARLY BIRD TICKET NOW.
IIUSA Members should plan on setting up meetings with the Senators or Representatives during their time in DC. IIUSA can be of assistance, if necessary, in setting these meetings up and coordinating with other Members from the same state delegation. Members will be provided with an “EB-5 Advocacy Toolkit” with materials/resources to help you be an excellent Program advocate on The Hill. This “on the ground” and informed advocacy is at the core of what it will take to make this Program a permanent tool of 21st century economic policy. Please contact Peter D. Joseph, IIUSA Executive Director, (peter.joseph@iiusa.org) for assistance.
The Conference will take place at the Liaison Capitol Hill, An Affinia Hotel. Please see to the right of your screen for hotel location. You can reserve your room under the IIUSAgroup rate by calling 866-233-4642 or CLICKING HERE.
With a ticket, you get entry to the following agenda of events (subject to change):
