The National Trade Association Brings Together the EB-5 Industry in the Second Largest Investor Market
Earlier this week, IIUSA hosted EB-5 professionals from around the world for our Global Banquet Series event in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Coming at a critical time for the Vietnamese EB-5 market, IIUSA was there to provide our members and local industry stakeholders important program updates in addition to first-class business development and networking opportunities.
With over 80 attendees representing EB-5 regional centers, immigration firms, foreign intermediaries and more, the event was certainly one of the most diverse and engaging events to date for the IIUSA Global Banquet Series. Furthermore, with representatives from 18 of Vietnam’s largest migration agencies, the event was a testament to both the growth of the EB-5 investor market in Vietnam as well as to the commitment of local service providers.
A core component of all IIUSA Banquet Series events is the educational panel focused on addressing industry hot-topics. Our expert panel, led by Leon Rodriquez, Partner at Seyfarth Shaw, provided attendees critical updates on the EB-5 legislative front as well as sharing key insights into local market conditions, the recent EB-5 lawsuit seeking visa relief, USCIS adjudication trends, and more. The event, the first large-scale industry event in Vietnam since the market reached its annual per country cap of the EB-5 visa category, not only addressed the challenges that the market is facing, but it also highlighted the opportunities for the EB-5 market in Vietnam in the years to come.
