U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Consular Affairs has published the February 2019 Visa Bulletin (View PDF). The EB-5 Regional Center category has been listed as “U” meaning unauthorized for issuance.
As such the EB-5 visa category is currently listed as “Unavailable” for February. However, if there is legislative action re-opening the federal government and extending the Program the final action dates would immediately become “Current” for all countries except China-mainland born which would be subject to a September 1, 2014 final action data and Vietnam which would be subject to a June 15, 2016 final action date.
In addition, the latest February Visa Bulletin includes a new section “Visa Availability in the Coming Months” which highlights projections on Final Action Dates for each visa category by country. With regards to the EB-5 the section states:
Employment Fifth: The category will remain “Current” for most countries.
China-mainland born: Up to one week. Vietnam: Up to three weeks.
