The EB-5 Regional Center Program is due to sunset September 30, 2015….Contact a member of congress today and tell them why they should support EB-5 in their district!
Summer is over and autumn is in full swing. We are also one year out from the EB-5 Regional Center Program’s sunset date of September 30, 2015.
Now, more than ever, it is important to come together as an industry with a unified voice to ensure that this regional economic development tool continues its work of creating jobs and enhancing communities all around the country. Using IIUSA’s Legislative Action Center is a quick and easy way to contact your members of Congress and let them know about the positive work the Program is doing in their states and districts.
Join IIUSA’s EB-5 Market Exchange in San Francisco, October 22-24, to begin the official “push” toward Prorgam Reauthorization
With only a year between now and the sunset date of the Program, EB-5 advocacy will be a focal point of the 4th annual Annual EB-5 Market Exchange on October 22-24 at the Westin St. Francis in San Francisco. The conference will serve as a perfect opportunity to engage the wide network of EB-5 supporters, and work together toward permanent authorization.
The 2014 event is expected to top last year’s conference in Las Vegas with over 700 attendees, 40+ exhibitors, and 30+ sponsors. Guests will be treated to an action-packed agenda with three days of exhibiting, four keynote speakers and eight keynote panels, 10 “breakout sessions” and two entertainment-packed evening receptions (see full agenda here).
An Advocacy Center will be set up within the conference, allowing attendees to use IIUSA’s Legislative Action Center on-site to send letters to their members of Congress. This earns them an “EB-5 is Working” pin, signifying they are an active advocate and encourages their peers to take action too.
