Yesterday, Congress passed a FY2020 spending bill that funds the federal government and extends the EB-5 Regional Center Program through September 30, 2020. The bill has been sent to the President’s desk, which he is expected to sign.
This extension provides a 9-month window for industry stakeholders to continue their work on achieving long-term reauthorization and comprehensive program reform through legislative action. We are closer than ever to realizing this goal and IIUSA is eager to remain diligent in fighting for a legislative solution for the Program
We encourage all of our members to register for the IIUSA EB-5 Leaders Advocacy Summit in Washington, DC this spring. Now more than ever, we must advocate for the future of the EB-5 Regional Center Program as a single, unified voice and this revamped event will give our members the opportunity to convene in our nation’s capital as a delegation on behalf of EB-5. Don’t miss your opportunity to influence and impact the future of the Program.
