The U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Consular Affairs has published the December 2019 Visa Bulletin (View PDF). The EB-5 Regional Center category has been listed as “U” meaning unauthorized for issuance.
The final action dates for the EB-5 Regional Center category has been listed as unauthorized for issuance due to the current continuing resolution (CR) under which EB-5 is currently authorized, expiring after November 21, 2019. When there is legislative action reauthorizing the EB-5 Program all final action dates would immediately become “current” for all countries not currently subject to a backlog (Mainland-China, Vietnam and India).
Earlier this year, Mr. Charlie Oppenheim, Chief of Immigrant Visa Control & Reporting Division at U.S. Department of State, shared his latest insights and statistics with attendees of the IIUSA EB-5 Industry Forum. You can read IIUSA analysis here.
