Tomorrow, Thursday, November 19, 2020, IIUSA’s first-ever Virtual EB-5 Industry Forum will close out with a presentation from Charlie Oppeheim, Chief of the Visa Control and Reporting Division at the U.S. Department of State at 2:00pm ET. This will follow the first panel of the day which will be at 12:00pm ET: The Legal Game: How EB-5 Practitioners are Inducing Action and Information Through the Courts.
Mr. Oppenheim will provide event attendees with the most pertinent visa updates, including information on retrogression, final action dates, and predictions for the months ahead. This is a particularly interesting time to hear about expectations in this COVID/post-COVID era from the preeminent source on visa issuance. After Mr. Oppenheim’s presentation, IIUSA member panelists will dig deeper and analyze the information in a roundtable discussion from their industry expert perspectives.
This two-part panel will include Mr. Oppenheim’s presentation and a Post-Hoc Expert Analysis portion consisting of the following IIUSA members:
- Carolyn Lee, Carolyn Lee PLLC (Moderator)
- Jeff Campion, Pathways EB-5
- David Hirson, David Hirson & Partners
- Bernard Wolfsdorf, Wolfsdorf Rosenthal LLP
Don’t forget to tune in to both panels tomorrow at 12:00pm ET and 2:00pm ET. CLEs will be available for both panels for attorneys seeking credit.
