The August 2021 Visa Bulletin (Read Here) is now available. Due to the June 30, 2021 lapse in EB-5 Regional Center Program authorization the Regional Center fifth preference category is listed as “U” or unavailable for all countries.
The bulletin notes “If there is legislative action extending this category for August, the final action dates would immediately become “Current” for August for all countries except China-mainland born I5 and R5, which would be subject to a November 15, 2015, final action date.”
The direct EB-5 is still valid for all investors as it is a permanent program. Accordingly final action dates continued to advance for the category with China final action dates advancing one week and Vietnamese final action dates moving to “current”. All other countries remain current for the non-regional center category.
