I-526 Petition
The average processing time for Form I-526, as of June 2016, was 16.7 months representing a slight 1-month increase from the previous month. However, 16.7 months represents a 24.6% increase in a year-over-year comparison.
I-829 Petition
The average processing time for I-829 petitions increased by .8 months from May 2016 to 21.3 months in June 2016. On average, it takes roughly 7 months, or 50% longer, to adjudicate an I-829 petition when compared to this time last year.
I-924 Application
As of June 2016, processing times for I-924 applications are at 10.2 months, a modest 3- month increase from May. However, processing times are over two months longer than they were in October 2015, when processing times reached a year-over-year low of 7.9 months.
