Please mark your calendars and register to attend the Annual IIUSA Membership Meeting on Tuesday, May 12, 2020. This year’s Membership Meeting will be held virtually in a webinar format. Attendance is free, but you must RSVP** to attend. If you are unable to attend the live broadcast, a recording of the meeting will be available to members for a week following the event.
At this year’s meeting, members will hear the State of the Association from IIUSA President, Robert Kraft and a budget update from IIUSA Secretary-Treasurer, Steve Strnisha.
Additionally, members will vote on proposed bylaws amendments and Officers and Board of Directors elections. Voting will be open electronically for 1 week following the meeting from Tuesday, May 12 until Tuesday, May 19 at 11:59 pm. More information on the voting process is forthcoming. Be on the lookout for that in your email inbox.
A presentation of proposed bylaws changes will be made along with speeches from election candidates. Note that Officers positions (President, Vice President, and Secretary-Treasurer) are elected on a 1-year basis and all incumbents are seeking re-election this year. There are 2 Directors positions up for election this year, both of which must be filled by Regional Center members only, per the bylaws. All incumbents for these positions have voiced their intention to run for re-election.
While we may not be able to gather together in person this year for the Membership Meeting, we are grateful we have the opportunity to still provide this membership right to all of our members virtually.
