On Thursday July 28, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) held an EB-5 stakeholder engagement as part of USCIS’ continued efforts to enhance dialogue between the agency and the EB-5 stakeholder community.
On the first part of the call, USCIS delivered agency and program updates. These in included an analysis of historical data points, current processing times and adjudication trends, the announcement of a forthcoming Department of Commerce economic impact studied on the Program as well as information regarding project site visits conducted by USCIS FDNS (Fraud Detection and National Security Directorate) and field officers. The second part of the engagement was a question and answer period.
