Invest in the USA (IIUSA) is postponing the upcoming EB-5 Passport Series events originally scheduled for this coming January in China.
This decision follows a strategic recommendation from our local Exit-Entry Association partners in response to recent regulations issued by the Chinese government regarding migration agencies. We are still working to determine the full extent of the regulations, but they may impact the operations of migration agencies. Key aspects of these regulations include
- Mandatory Registration: All local migration agents are required to register officially with the Chinese government.
- Event Restrictions: Limitations have been placed on the types of promotions, marketing, and physical events that agencies can host.
While this delay is disappointing, the EB-5 market simply needs time to adapt to and digest these operational changes. We are fully confident that the series will move forward successfully. Taking this necessary pause ensures that our return to the region is fully compliant, secure, and productive for all attendees.
