Why is IIUSA moving to Washington, D.C.? To serve you in the way that reflects the state of EB-5 Regional Center industry.

Just like the EB-5 Regional Center Program has done in the last five plus years – and thanks to your hard work and steadfast support – IIUSA has reached a new plateau that is reflective of the growth and institutionalization of our industry. Plus, we turn ten years old as an organization this May – which we will celebrate in advocacy-style across the street from our offices at the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill at our8th Annual EB-5 Advocacy & Leadership ConferenceApril 12-14 (our membership meeting will be on the April 12).Furthermore, given the federal nature of the Program, IIUSA has long collaborated with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and other relevant federal agencies, strategic partners and Congress to formulate policies to improve the EB-5 Program so you can create jobs in your community. These essential relationships – along with new ones we will develop to garner new allies for the Program – will be further enhanced by our presence in Washington.

With a new Congress taking shape and the EB-5 Regional Center Program due to sunset on September 30, 2015, IIUSA recognizes the urgency and opportunity that being stationed permanently in Washington, D.C. represents. Our new offices will serve as a launching point for members to advocate for the EB-5 Program with their local representatives. Located a mere 10-minute walk from the Capitol, IIUSA encourages its members to stop by the new offices and utilize IIUSA-branded brochures and collateral that will help them tell their stories of regional economic development – and then come back to report on your visit and use our office space as needed for the day.

Long story short, in this new year, IIUSA members will have their voices heard loud and clear by lawmakers in Congress: “EB-5 is Working.” We look forward to seeing you in D.C. soon!
