On March 11, President Donald Trump appointed Joseph Edlow to serve as the head of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). Edlow has an extensive background in immigration law and policy, previously serving as Deputy Director of USCIS during President Trump’s first administration. He has held additional key leadership roles within the agency, focusing on policy enforcement and operational efficiency.
USCIS, part of the Department of Homeland Security, oversees legal immigration to the United States, including processing visas, asylum applications, and naturalization.
IIUSA looks forward to working with Director Edlow and his team to support policies that enhance efficiency, transparency, and fairness in the immigration process.
