Invest in the USA (IIUSA) announces the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an economic impact study of the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program. We want to quantify the post-2016 economic impact of the EB-5 Program and are inviting qualified firms to submit their proposals. Click here to read the full RFP.
About IIUSA:
IIUSA is the only non-profit membership trade association representing the EB-5 community. Its members include many of the EB-5 Program’s regional centers, immigration lawyers, business developers, banks, and several foreign stakeholders. The association is a tax exempt 501(c)(6) organization.
About the Project:
The EB-5 economic impact study will aim to provide a comprehensive analysis of the economic impact of the EB-5 Program between 2016 and 2020 at both state and national levels. Additionally, the study will break down the impact by industry sectors. This study will also measure the correlation between a variety of factors such as the limited number of EB-5 visas and the EB-5 Program’s ability to attract qualifying foreign investment and create jobs for the U.S. economy. Furthermore, IIUSA is seeking insights on the comparison between the EB-5 Program and other federal economic development programs, such as New Market Tax Credits and Opportunity Zones, in terms of economic impact and cost to U.S. taxpayers.
IIUSA believes that understanding the broader economic impact of the EB-5 Program is crucial for making informed policy decisions and better leveraging the EB-5 Program as an economic development and job creation tool. In the past, IIUSA has commissioned a series of economic impact studies on the EB-5 Program.
What We Are Looking For:
IIUSA is seeking proposals from firms with a proven track record in conducting data-driven economic impact studies and bringing the conclusions to life. Ideal candidates should possess expertise in economic modeling, data analysis, and have innovative approaches to presenting the conclusions to audiences, including media and Capitol Hill.
How to Respond:
If your firm meets the qualifications outlined above and is interested in partnering with IIUSA on this project, we invite you to thoroughly examine the full RFP here. Submissions should include a detailed proposal outlining your approach, methodology, team expertise, detailed budget, relevant experience, past project examples, and a proposed timeline.
