Invest in the USA (IIUSA) kicked off the 2022 EB-5 Event Passport Series with its first event in Sao Paulo Brazil. IIUSA members and partners met with local stakeholders and prospective investors from throughout Brazil, and it was the association’s first international event in more than two years.
Attendees heard from some of the leading EB-5 Regional Centers, immigration attorneys, and service providers at a pivotal time for the industry. With the reauthorization of the Regional Center Program through the EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act of 2022 came many questions. Accordingly, it was great to be onsite and in-person to help address investors’ questions and to discuss recent developments affecting the EB-5 Regional Center Program.
With 100 in-person and virtual attendees, the event was a welcome return to international engagements for IIUSA and is a testament to the renewed excitement surrounding the EB-5 Program. A special thank you is owed to the Sao Paulo Chamber of Commerce and Industry which was instrumental in coordinating local marketing and Brazilian participants. We look forward to continuing to grow the collaboration in the years ahead as we anticipate many future events in Brazil.
