In the third installment of IIUSA’s 2014 (monthly) Webinar Series, we will take a practical approach to Due Diligence in the EB-5 Context. Our panelists will examine proper immigration/security compliance and how to conduct thorough background checks in the name of EB-5 Due Diligence. A unique aspect of this webinar is that our panelists will review a series of hypothetical projects with varying characteristics and due diligence challenges. These project mock ups will cover rural/urban, big/small, industry, TEA viability, models, exit strategies, job creation, etc.
In October 2013, IIUSA held an EB-5 Due Diligence Webinar in the wake of the SEC/USCIS Joint Investor Alert, which reviewed EB-5 due diligence form a broad perspective (Purchase On Demand, Members $75, Non-Members $150). Furthermore, IIUSA’s winter edition of the Regional Center Business Journal, titled “The Due Diligence Issue,” provided context to several EB-5 Due Diligence conundrums including risk for Regional Centers (Read Issue #4 for RCBJ Online).
