On Friday, February 15, President Trump signed the “Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2019” which funds the federal government and extends EB-5 Regional Center Program authorization through September 30, 2019.
This over 7 month extension opens the door for IIUSA and the EB-5 industry to make significant strides in securing a legislative solution for the Program that includes long-term reauthorization and reforms. In addition, the extension enables IIUSA to continue to champion impactful visa relief solutions.
IIUSA looks forward to continuing to advocate on your behalf on Capitol Hill to ensure a long and sustainable future for the EB-5 Regional Center Program. It is our goal to ensure EB-5 continues to act as a powerful engine for local economic development and job creation – all at no cost to the U.S. taxpayer.
