I-526 Petition
As of September 2016, the average processing time for I-526 petitions was 14.7 months, a modest 2.1% increase in a year-over-year comparison.
I-829 Petition
The average processing time for I-829 petitions increased to 22.8 months, up .9 months from the average time in August 2016. On average, it takes 8 months, or 55%, longer to adjudicate an I-829 petition than it did at this time last year.
I-924 Application
As of September 2016, the average processing time for Form I-924 is 12.9 months, which represents a 1 month increase from August 2016.
