Select USA Roadshow in Japan (May 19-23)
K. David Andersson is representing IIUSA at the SelectUSA Roadshow in Japan from May 19-23 and will speak with potential investors in Osaka (May 23rd) about immigration investments through the EB-5 Program. Select USA Roadshow in Mexico (May 21-23)
Peter D. Joseph will head south of the border to represent IIUSA at SelectUSA’s Mexico Roadshow from May 21-23rd. The roadshow will stop in Queretaro and Merida, Mexico. It will feature sessions on how to invest in the United States. For more in the Mexico Roadshow, read here.
Henley & Partners Forum in Malta (May 28-29)
IIUSA will be represented at the Henley & Partners Forum, the sister event to the Global Residence & Citizenship Conference held every year in November (Read the report from the 2013 conference) by IIUSA President’s Advisory Council Members Adam Greene, President at Live in America Financial Services LLC and Drex Owusu, Managing Director and Chief of Staff at Civitas Capital Group. What is SelectUSA?
The SelectUSA Initiative was established through an Executive Order in June 2011 by President Barack Obama to support private sector job creation and enhance economic growth by encouraging and supporting business investment in the United States. Housed in the U.S. Department of Commerce, SelectUSA’s mission is to coordinate outreach and engagement by the Federal Government to promote the United States as the premier location to operate a business.
What are SelectUSA Roadshows?
SelectUSA Roadshows are designed to bring state Economic Development Organizations (EDOs), regional EDOs and their partners to meet with potential investors and companies. Through these roadshows, participating organizations will gain market insights, learn of existing investment opportunities, make industry and state government contacts, and advance specific projects, with the goal of increasing inbound investment into the U.S.
