IIUSA Data Report: Processing Time Statistics & Trends for Immigrant Investor Program Office (IPO) through October 31, 2017

Last year, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) befan positing EB-5 petition processing times using a specific date format rather than in weeks or months as a “first step to providing processing times that are similar and easier to understand”.

As of October 31, 2017, USCIS is processing the I-526 petitions that it recieved before November 21, 2015, I-829 petitions recieved before September 2, 2015 and the I-924 applications received before October 18 ,2015.

Key Highlights on Latest EB-5 Processing Time Statistics:

  • Form I-526:  processing time increased by one month from September to 24 months.
  • Form I-829: processing time remains unchanged from September at around 26 months.
  • Form I-924: application processing time is now at 25 months the highest level in Program history.
