In November, the dates for filing will remain “current” for all EB-5 applicants, except for the applicants who were born in mainland China or India, and invested through a regional center project or a direct project outside the reserved visa categories (the date for filing of these applicants is January 1, 2016 for Chinese nationals and December 8, 2019 for Indian nationals).
IIUSA recently published this article titled “Reserved Visa Rules, Possible Future Visa Allocation, and Recommendations,” discussing the “reserved visa” provisions on the 2022 EB-5 Reform and Integrity Act and how these new rules could impact EB-5 visa allocations in the upcoming fiscal years.
