USCIS San Francisco District Office to Host EB-5 Event with Top Government Stakeholders

Visa Bulletin FeaturedThe U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) San Francisco District Office will host an Employment Visa Engagement in San Jose, CA on July 19th from 9:00am to 3:00pm featuring an address from Immigrant Investor Program Office (IPO) Chief Nicholas Colucci and Charlie Oppenheim, Chief of Visa Control & Reporting Division at the U.S. Department of State.

The one day event will feature federal government stakeholders from the U.S. Department of State, Department of Labor and USCIS and will cover a host of topics include the EB-5 Regional Center Program, trends and projections on immigrant visa priority dates, USCIS site and compliance visits including the H1B Fraud Detection Initiative and more.

IIUSA Director Ginny Fang, CEO, Golden Gate Global, will attend to represent IIUSA at this important stakeholder event. Speakers will include:

  • Nicholas Colucci, Chief, USCIS Immigrant Investor Program Office
  • Charlie Oppenheim, Chief of Visa Control & Reporting Division, U.S. Department of State
  • Martin Otero, Community Outreach Specialist and former investigator, Wage and Compliance Division, U. S. Department of Labor
  • Ken Takeda, Western Regional Assistant Director, Fraud Detection & National Security, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services.
