March 2019 Visa Bulletin: Cut-off Dates for Mainland China and Vietnam Both Advance

The U.S. Department of State – Bureau of Consular Affairs has released the March 2019 Visa Bulletin. The bulletin revealed a cut-off date of September 8, 2014 for Mainland China born applicants, an advancement of one week and a cutoff date of July 15, 2016 for Vietnam born applicants – a one month advancement.

As of March 1, 2019, Mainland Chinese and Vietnamese investors who filed their I-526 petitions on or before the new cutoff dates will be eligible to schedule interviews with Department of State Consular offices and be issued conditional immigration visas to enter the U.S. or apply for adjustment of status if they are already in the U.S.
