IIUSA Statement

EB-5 reaches across the globe to generate billions of dollars in capital investment every year. That’s why we’re working together to improve the program and its rigorous vetting process so it can continue creating American jobs and providing an important stream of development funds for local communities across our country at no cost to taxpayers.

This is a critical time for our industry and it’s more important than ever for stakeholders to coalesce around common principles and work with policymakers as they seek to address problems that prevent EB-5 from reaching its potential. We look forward to today’s hearing in the House Judiciary Committee, their examination of the recently proposed rules from the Department of Homeland Security, and the discussion that will continue after.
