For the fourth year in a row, IIUSA participated in the SelectUSA Investment Summit held in our nation’s capital from June 19-22. The Summit is the premier event dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment in the United States. This year’s event featured nearly 2,800 participants, including over 1,000 representatives from international investor markets.
IIUSA staff was in attendance at the event to help promote the important economic development and job creation taking place across the country thanks to the EB-5 Regional Center Program.
This years theme– “Grow with US” – served to highlight the innovative business climate in the United Sates and to feature investment opportunities from across the country. The summit once again was the ultimate platform bringing together economic development organizations from across the country and international investors to promote the United States as the premier destination for foreign direct investment and to highlight local economic development initiatives. IIUSA was honored to represent the EB-5 industry and to highlight the important economic development and job creation carried out every day by EB-5 stakeholders.
Looking ahead to the next few months IIUSA will continue to participate in industry events around the world to promote the EB-5 Regional Center Program and to advocate for program reform and reauthorization ahead of the September 30th “sunset” date.
