IIUSA Headquarters Relocate to Nation’s Capitol

The leading trade association for EB-5 Regional Centers will move to Washington D.C. on January 1, 2015

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) December 30, 2014

The Association to Invest in the USA (IIUSA), the national not-for-profit industry trade association for the EB-5 Regional Center Program (the “Program”), recently announced its headquarter offices will move to Washington, D.C. January 1, 2015.

“Just like the EB-5 Regional Center Program has done in the last five years, IIUSA has reached new heights reflecting the growth and institutionalization of our industry,” said IIUSA Executive Director Peter D. Joseph. “Given the Program’s symbiotic relationship with the federal government, IIUSA has long collaborated with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) among other agencies to formulate policies to improve the EB-5 Program and bring jobs to communities around the country at no cost to taxpayers.”

IIUSA’s new offices will serve as a launching point for EB-5 stakeholders to advocate for the EB-5 Program with their local representatives. IIUSA’s members account for more than 95 percent of capital flowing through the EB-5 Program and have supported successful economic development projects around the country. IIUSA’s Regional Center members are listed on the Interactive Regional Center Map, which displays each Regional Center’s location, approval date, states served, approved geography and industries, website and more. The map is further searchable by members have I-526 (Immigrant Petition) and I-829 (Removal of Conditions) approvals.

Investor demand and EB-5 capital formation set records in FY2014, with USCIS receiving 10,928 investor petitions, approving 5,115 and 12,453 pending. This translates into more than $5 billion in capital submitted for intended deployment into the U.S. economy, over $2.5 billion approved for investment and an additional $6.2 billion in capital awaiting federal adjudication.
