IIUSA Submits Statement for the Record in Advance of House Judiciary Committee Hearing on Processing Delays at USCIS

This afternoon, the House Judiciary Committee is hosting a hearing titled “Policy Changes and Processing Delays at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services“. The purpose of the hearing is to highlight the growing delays in USCIS petition processing and policy changes that may be impacting said processing. The hearing will feature witnesses from both the government as well as other non-government individuals.

In advance of the hearing, IIUSA submitted a statement for the record expressing concerns on how adjudication delays are specifically impacting the EB-5 Program. This follows the association’s letter submitted to USCIS earlier this year on the same topic.
