It’s a Wrap! Highlights from IIUSA’s 10th Annual EB-5 Advocacy Conference

Last week IIUSA successfully hosted the 10th Annual EB-5 Advocacy Conference, April 26-28, at the Marriott Marquis in downtown Washington, DC. On behalf of all IIUSA officers, directors and staff, thank you to all of our attendees who made the conference such a success. It was fitting that in our tenth year hosting this annual industry gathering, our conference dates aligned with the most recent re-authorization deadline for the EB-5 Regional Center Program (the “Program”).

Attendees heard from industry experts, government officials, and other global thought leaders on panels ranging from investor market diversification, banking considerations in EB-5, litigation and much more. Progress was also made on EB-5 advocacy thanks in large part to our work together as seen by the fact that the Program is set to be extended through September 30, 2017 by the end of this week, with negotiations on a long-term reauthorization and reform package also gaining momentum.

This years event featured 30+ sponsors, 60+ speakers and over 350 attendees all of whose incredible support enabled IIUSA to deliver a valuable and timely advocacy event for the industry.
