As the trade association of the EB-5 Regional Center Program, we have the distinct privilege of representing a strong and diverse industry. Thanks to our members and the work they do every day through the EB-5 Program, local communities throughout the country are growing and thriving.
We know that many of these very same communities have been greatly impacted by Hurricanes Harvey and Irma and we wish everyone affected a safe and quick recovery.
As we look ahead to our 7th Annual EB-5 Industry Forum in Miami next month, I wanted take this opportunity to let our attendees and the industry know that the event will go on as scheduled as the hotel was spared significant damage. As we continue to watch the footage unfold of Irma’s destruction, we are cognizant of the fact that many individuals were not as lucky.
With that in mind, I am proud to announce the we will host a charity fundraiser at this years event which will go towards both Hurricane Harvey and Irma relief efforts. Now is the time for the EB-5 Industry to come together to highlight the important engine for economic growth that is the EB-5 Program and most importantly show our support for the local economy and communities as they look to recover from this tragedy.
IIUSA is proud to represent a dynamic global industry, but we are often reminded that the true importance of the EB-5 Program lies in its contributions to local communities. We hope that you will able to join us in Miami for what promises to be a great event and to celebrate and support the great city of Miami and the resiliency of the people of Florida.
I look forward to welcoming you to Miami in a few short weeks. To all of those affected by the storms – we are thinking of you and wishing you well.
