Election Process

IIUSA’s 16th Annual Membership Meeting will take place virtually at 12:00pm ET on May 4, 2021. All nominees or a proxy will have the opportunity to briefly address the membership about their candidacy. If a member is unable to attend the live meeting, it will be recorded and available to view for one week following the live meeting.

It is free to attend the live Membership Meeting, but you must register. Simply do so by using this form.

Each member organization in good standing* will receive information in the coming days for how to cast their electronic vote for the election. Each member organization has a “designated voter” and that person will receive emailed instructions. Voting will open following the conclusion of the membership meeting and members will have until 11:59pm on May 11, 2021 to cast their votes.

Each member organization will receive one ballot to cast votes for the four open directorship positions** and all three officer positions. Members may cast up to four votes for the same person for each directorship opening, if they choose. The four director nominees with the highest vote counts will fill the open directorship seats. The new directors will be announced via email to the membership no later than May 14, 2021.

*Member organizations more than two months past due will be unable to vote until the dues are paid or a payment plan is established.

**Up to, but no more than, two Director positions may be filled by Service Provider members, per IIUSA’s bylaws (accessible here).
