IIUSA Approved Best Practices
In 2007, IIUSA formed its Best Practices Committee to raise the bar at which the EB-5 Regional Center Program business is conducted and to advocate for professional integrity by Regional Centers and the industry that serves them. IIUSA continuously explores and publishes industry best practices to promote responsible, professional and ethical behavior and reinforce confidence in the EB-5 Program and the EB-5 Regional Center industry among all stakeholders.
Over the years, IIUSA members have adopted a number of recommendations for best practices and have regularly adopted updates and changes to existing recommendations during that time. Documents include Best Practices for Engaging with Sales Intermediaries (2009 and 2015), IIUSA Code of Ethics and Standards for Professional Conduct (2014), Code of Ethics Enforcement Procedures (2014), Best Practices for Regional Centers (2013 and 2016), Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) (2007 and 2016). The Best Practices Committee, with input from the broader membership, is constantly looking at ways to update and improve existing best practices and develop new documents as the industry evolves.
